I was a geek before geeky was cool. I’ve been doing this since I was 18 years old and saw an ad in the Akron Beacon Journal. I went out to a Revolutionary War reenactment at Hale Farm and knew immediately that this was something I wanted to do. That was 1978, and I’ve been involved ever since. I was initially part of an American regiment, but I switched sides.
